Imagine this scene…
You are holding a cup of coffee, and someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee EVERYWHERE.
Now, if someone else were to ask you: “Why did you spill the coffee?”
What would you say?
Most people would go with: “Because someone bumped into me!!!”
But you see…
That would be the wrong answer.
I didn’t ask you why you’ve made a mess on the floor.
I asked you why it was the coffee that was spilled, you see?
And well, the right answer is that… you spilled the coffee, because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea, right?
Whatever is inside the cup… is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which DOES happen), whatever is inside you will come out.
In life… it’s easy to fake it… until you get rattled.
So a good, self-reflecting question would be: “What’s in my cup?“
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Anger, bitterness, harsh words, and abreactions?
Or is it joy, gratefulness, peace, compassion, and humility?
Life provides the cup, and YOU get to choose what to fill it with.
I am filling mine with gratitude, love, compassion, forgiveness, joy, and kindness, so… feel free to shake me up a bit ;)
Have a good week ahead, my human friend.
And a special thanks to one of my Master Coaches – Moza, who inspired this email today!

P.S. Wanna see what your cup is full of? Or do you already know, and you wish you could just swap that cup with one that’s not so heavy and dark?
Look no more, come and join me for a live workshop, and let me help you let go of the piled-up baggage, so that you can, once again – start with an empty cup. The next live training is coming up very soon, contact Corinna for details.
