Here’s a question for you:
Who do you spend the most time with?
I’ve been thinking about my life recently and where I am right now. All I can say is deep gratitude for the experience.
Deep, deep gratitude.
My heart is full, and life force inside of me is as strong as ever. Fullness of life at its best. I’ve realized once again, how much I love hanging out with like-hearted people. We’ve all heard the age-old advice to be careful who you surround yourself with.
I think it was Jim Rohn that said: “Your income will average the income of the five people you spend the most time with.”
And someone else added: “Show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future”. I’ve often said that “normal” people must find me quite boring. I’ve focused my life on a quest to develop myself and others continuously… so my eyes light up, and my energy expands with excitement, when you talk to me about “coaching”, empowerment, human potential, rapid healing.
Ask me about sports and current affairs and… my knowledge is sketchy at best! I probably wouldn’t recognize a single Kardashian if I were stuck in an elevator with all of them at once!
I’m just super disconnected from all of that noise. Unless we speak about healing our world in some ways… I just don’t feel I have much value to add. So when I am not training or coaching, I spend a lot of the time observing people around me… as they are having… their human experience.
But nevertheless, who you spend your time with… affects you greatly.
Your relationships either pull you away from your heart’s path, or support it. Conversations that you are having, energy that you are sharing and experiencing… matters big time.
Who do you spend the most time with? What information is constantly entering your mind and dictates your focus? Is it toxic or inspiring? Life draining or energizing?
Fast track to success is to surround yourself with people that will support your magnificence.
People that believe in you. So choose your friends wisely and pick mentors with whom you can spend as much time as possible.
Because, whoever you are with… it rubs off. So I hope you are choosing to rub off, the successful ones. Finding such people in my classrooms is easy. Life long relationships get formed in there – partnerships of all kind.
The key is to take that home with you though. To make it your home.
A place where you get to choose who enters your space, and who stays out. That’s what I’ve done.
I became “The Gate Keeper” of my own mind and space. We all gotta start somewhere.
Please know that just by reading my emails and studying my materials… you are already on the right path.
You are constantly feeding your mind with some good stuff. It’s not the fastest way… but it does matter a lot!
